Refunds & Return Policy

SnagTheBag offers a limited selection of pre-owned luxury handbags for sale. Because of the nature of pre-owned goods, our return policies are designed to ensure fairness and transparency for both buyers and sellers.

Limited Return Policy

Due to the unique nature of pre-owned luxury handbags, returns are limited. We encourage customers to review product photos, descriptions, dimensions, and condition notes carefully prior to purchase.

5-Day Limited Return Window

We understand that purchasing a luxury handbag online is a meaningful decision. In certain circumstances, SnagTheBag may approve a return request for reasons beyond authenticity or listing inaccuracies at our sole discretion. Customers may request a return within 5 days of confirmed delivery if the item meets one of the following conditions:

  • A credible concern regarding the authenticity of the item

  • The item is materially inconsistent with the product listing, including significant undisclosed condition issues or inaccuracies in the description

Returns will not be accepted for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Change of mind

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Fit, size, or styling preferences

  • Minor variations in color due to lighting or screen display

Return Approval

To initiate a return request, please contact hello@snagthebag.com within 5 days of confirmed delivery and include:

  • Order number

  • Item name

  • Reason for the return request

All return requests must be reviewed and approved prior to shipment. To help ensure a smooth review process, we may request additional photographs or information regarding the item and the reason for the return. If your return is approved, you will receive a notification with detailed return instructions.

Refunds & Restocking Fees

Approved returns will generally be refunded to the original form of payment. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed once the item has been received and inspected to confirm it is in the same condition in which it was originally shipped.

Returns approved due to an authenticity concern or a material discrepancy between the item and its listing will receive a full refund.

Returns approved for other reasons at SnagTheBag's discretion may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 10% of the purchase price. Any applicable restocking fee will be communicated and approved prior to the return being authorized.

Shipping Fees

  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer

  • SnagTheBag recommends insured and trackable shipping for all returns

Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a refund, returned items must be received in the same condition in which they were originally shipped, including all accompanying accessories and inclusions.

Returns may be declined if any of the following are observed upon inspection:

  • Additional wear, use, or damage not present at the time of shipment

  • Alterations, repairs, cleaning, or modifications of any kind

  • Missing accessories or inclusions, including but not limited to keys, clochettes, straps, dust bags, boxes, authenticity cards, or other items referenced in the original listing

If a return does not meet these requirements, the item may be returned to the customer and the refund request may be denied.

Authenticity Guarantee

All items sold through SnagTheBag undergo a multi-point authentication process.

If authenticity is ever credibly disputed, we will review the matter promptly and work toward a fair resolution.
